Book An Appointment
With the ever growing pressures on GP surgeries and national shortage of GP’s current GP practices are continually looking for ways to improve access to meet demand and allocate correctly the type of service or advice your condition requires.
How It Works:
Request will be submitted by the patient via the submit a request button at the bottom of this page.
A member of our team will review the request and may book the patient either a f2f or Telephone consultation if required. In some case, where patient interaction is not neccessary the patient will receive a text message/Email detailing the actions our Clinical/Administrative team have taken.
If an urgent appointment is required patient will be booked in on the same day. Non Urgent appointments will be booked in within a 2 week period.
What are the benefits to me as a patient?
As a patient you will benefit from:

- Your medical records will be more complete for the future
- The practice responses will be clearer
- You will receive a text message and email to let you know when the practice has responded (no more missing emails in the junk box).
- You can provide all the information that the practice needs without waiting on the phone
Accurx allows our team to continue to improve access times by helping us to direct you to the most appropriate care for your medical needs. This ensures we make use of our limited resources in the most safe and efficient way. All appointments will continue to be offered according to clinical urgency and need.
Your request will be handled in exactly the same manner whether you complete the request online yourself, or contact us via telephone, where our receptionists will ask the same questions to ensure equity of access for all patients.
We would encourage all patients who can do so to use Accurx triaging system, as this will prevent you needing to queue on the telephone and keep lines free for those who do not have internet access.
Completing an Accurx request yourself also provides you with more discretion should you prefer not to discuss your medical problem with one of our receptionists.
